The 2025 SEA Weightlifting Championships had been held during 13 - 15 June 2025 in Singapore, also this is the second time of International clubs events in our region.
Most SEAWF Members sent their athletes and officials to join this event, together 9 countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, also this event combined to organize with Singapore Weightlifting International 2025 as known as Singapore Weightlifting Festival 2025. The competition was well organized by Singapore Weightlifting Federation (SWF) at the newly renovated D'Marquee @ Downtown East
Dr.Niwat Limsuknirun SEAWF President, AWF EB and IWF TC said “I would be express sincere gratitude to Mr. Tom Liaw SWF President and Organizing Committee for well organized and warm hospitality for all participants. This event is aimed to develop our member athletes to have more experiences and skills to be ready for the coming international events. Also, this is not only compete, but to join and increase more friendships among us to show our unity as one SEA family.”
In addition, the next championships will be held in 2026 as test events before 2027 SEA Games in Malaysia. Congratulations to all athletes and hope to see you next year!!
